As a former educator, I flew small Estes rockets. Just now getting back into the hobby flying rockets with my son. My goals are to build and fly a few more low power rockets with my son, move up to mid-power, and eventually attempt Level 1 cert. I'm an experienced amateur astronomer, and I also love amateur radio (call sign KJ4FIG). I would love to see how to integrate amateur radio with rocketry (i.e. telemetry, tracking, etc.).
I love learning and hope to be a model example of a good club member, welcoming newcomers like myself to the hobby.
