Come have a blast from the grass

In the descriptions it rarely mentions where. I’m new to SC but Google is pointing me to Modern in Rembert. I’ll be coming from Upcountry. If Rembert is right, where do cross staters generally put up for the night? It’s a tough weekend to book so I’m looking now. Nearby tent sites are preferred. Thanks for any help.

It is dalzell. Look at the map in the event overview.

Hey South Carolina Rocketry!

I completed my L1 at last years event. I’m ready to fly my L2 and am planning to come up Sunday for my L2 (NAR)

Will witnesses be available for a NAR L2?

I’ve completed the tests and will bring paperwork done.

I’ll be flying a Katana on a baby J motor.

Yes

Freedom launch is a go. We will set up Friday at 1730. Do not unload your own gear until the pads are setup. The launch direction may change depending on weather and field conditions. We will being operations at about 9 am on Saturday.

UNC Pembroke will be there Saturday morning. I'm bringing several sets of hands and young(er) backs if any more help is needed with set-up and/or shifting things around.

Thanks for hosting today! It was a great day to come up for my cert flight!

I made one mistake and didn’t grab a second witness NAR contact. Charles did all the inspection work as primary but if someone who saw the flight can attest, that would be great.

If not, no worries. I’m still planning to bump up the motor and fly at NSL. It will just be a re-certification if needed

Again thanks! Great event up there.

Also, I was asked for SoAR contacts. Message me and I can provide them.
